The USC School of Architecture invites applicants for part-time faculty positions in architectural product design. Candidates should be able to teach undergraduate-level workshops or seminars ranging from topics such as resilient design, sustainability, commercialization, circular economy, business planning/marketing, digital apps, industrial design, programming, fabrication, manufacturing, etc. Candidates must demonstrate their experience in a teaching portfolio that explores critical disciplinary approaches to contemporary architectural product design with technological, social, and cultural relevance.
The core salary range for this position is $48.00 - $66.41 per hour. This is a part-time, 30% position. Compensation and rank to be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications: A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in architecture, design or business is required. A minimum of 5 years of combined professional and teaching experience is preferred. Preference is given to candidates with a proven track record of publication/exhibition, prior teaching experience at recognized schools of architecture, and the ability to teach software, fabrication, media, or graphics.
