Part-Time Lecturers for the 2024-25 Academic Year

The UCLA Institute for Society and Genetics (ISG) invites applications for non-tenure-track lecturer positions in Academic Year 2024-2025 to teach lower and upper division undergraduate courses in our undergraduate majors Human Biology and Society (HBS) B.A. and B.S., in all areas related to human biology and society, including framings that focus on physiology and health, evolutionary biology, medicine and culture, anthropology, sociology and/or history. Examples of course topics at the intersection of biology and society could include law, policy and society; social problems in human development; disability studies; ethnic, gender or sexuality studies; human-environment interactions; biotechnology; or bioethics and philosophy. The instructor must be able to teach in either social sciences, or biological sciences, or both.
