Description We are on the hunt for a proficient PART TIME Logistics Analyst to join our team in ALLENTOWN, Pennsylvania. As a Logistics Analyst, you will be instrumental in refining our business operations by taking on the task of cleaning up legacy data. Your key role will be to assist in the efficient running of our business by updating and maintaining our purchasing data in the SAP system. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Ensure efficient and accurate input of info record data, including setting all flags appropriately. • Utilize your expertise in data mining techniques to mass upload price, UOM, and MOQ data files into SAP. • Create conversion factors for info records that translate PCs to the correct UOM. • Develop and recommend a standard methodology for creating info records to streamline communication requirements and minimize manual communication channels. • Carry out regular auditing to maintain compliance and accuracy in data input and processing. • Use your strong knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to optimize business processes. • Contribute to employee training, imparting knowledge on how to update and maintain purchasing data in SAP. • Communicate effectively with various teams, including purchasing and logistics, to ensure broad application of your skills.
