Our Engine Machinists play key roles in offering specialized services to our customers in select locations. The Machinist puts their highly-specialized skills to work to develop custom solutions for our customers. We are looking for a Part Time Machinist Assistant to help with the flow of the day-to-day machine shop operations

Key Responsibilities

Assist Machinists with projects as neededAbility to disassemble cylinder heads and blocksUnderstand our customer’s unique needs and accurately record information relating to the machine shop services that are requested.

Requirements Prior experience in cylinder head and block disassembly is preferred, but we will train you the right candidateManual dexterity skills adequate for disassembly operationsAbility to follow directions from the Machinists.Strong organizational skills while working on multiple projectsStrong customer service skills and communication skillsPrior forklift operator experience or the ability to obtain a forklift licenseLifting of a minimum of 70 pounds on a regular basisStanding, lifting, twisting, bending, walking and sittingSome computer knowledge and proficiency is helpful, but not requiredYour schedule would be flexible with 20-25 hours, Monday through Friday between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM
