Part Time Medical Receptionist
Description We are inviting applications for the position of an a Medical Receptionist at our healthcare facility located in Brownsville, Texas. This role primarily involves managing reception and front desk duties and ensuring the well-being of our members. The job offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Serve as the initial point of contact for the public visiting or contacting the center. • Handle reception and front desk duties effectively. • Register new members, ensuring all necessary data is accurately recorded. • Monitor member attendance and maintain up-to-date records. • Assist in meal preparation and distribution. • Conduct wellness checks on members to ascertain their safety and well-being. • Utilize strong computer skills to efficiently manage tasks and operations. • Leverage bilingual skills, preferably English and Spanish, to communicate effectively with diverse members. • Use interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with members and staff. Requirements • Proficiency in using the 'About Time' software for efficient time management • Experience in performing receptionist duties, including managing appointments and patient inquiries • In-depth knowledge of clinical trial operations, with the ability to coordinate and manage trials effectively • Fluency in the Spanish language to cater to a diverse patient population • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining regular attendance and punctuality • Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and colleagues • Advanced computer skills, including familiarity with healthcare databases and electronic health records • Experience or willingness to work in offshore settings if required • Expertise in prepping patients for procedures or examinations • Familiarity with ST Microcontroller for managing medical equipment • Understanding of TRICARE policies and procedures to assist military patients effectively • Proficiency in using NIS (Nursing Information System) for patient care coordination.
