WGME is seeking a motivated and reliable Part-Time News Production Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play an integral part in ensuring the smooth production of our newscasts. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Deko, Audio, or Camera during Morning, Evening, and Weekend newscasts. Prepare for newscasts by: Setting up and ensuring all fonts are ready to air. Assisting with studio and set preparation. Maintaining the studio environment. Managing lighting for broadcasts. Performing tape editing for newscasts. Handle other production-related tasks as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications:

No prior experience required; however, a background in television or a related field through education or internships is preferred. Training will be provided to the right candidate.

General Hours:

29 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Availability to work on weekends and occasional additional hours as needed.
