California’s Bay Area is one of the most desirable places to live and offers mild year-round weather. Its scenic beauty, suburban charm, and excellent school systems offer residents the unique opportunity for convenient and relaxed living—plus, for those who enjoy exciting city life, San Francisco is just a quick drive or train ride away. There are many iconic attractions to explore, cultural exhibitions, and a plethora of outdoor activities all year long. Its proximity to some of California’s most visited destinations—Monterey Bay, Napa Valley, Sacramento, Santa Cruz, and Silicon Valley—makes it an ideal location to practice and live.
About the Practice
This long-standing, second-generation family practice has served the bay area for decades. Over the years, the business established Estudillo Plaza Optometry in San Leandro, Fremont Optometric Vision Care Center in Fremont, and Visual Insight Optometry in Castro Valley. The dedicated team of Optometrists takes a one-on-one approach to preserving eye health and specializes in primary eye care, myopia control, and dry eye syndrome. Dr. Haw is an expert in specialty contact lenses, including rigid gas permeable lenses, Synergeyes lenses, and scleral lenses. With three successful practice locations in the Bay Area, the practice is looking to add one Optometrist to the Castro Valley practice and one to the San Leandro.
The practice utilizes behind-the-scenes technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of ocular conditions. Fully suited with state-of-the-art optical exam technology, the professionals leverage optical coherence tomography, topography, anterior/posterior segment photo, and additional technologies. Patients will enjoy browsing eyewear from the modern optical boutique that carries high-quality frames from the latest designers.
About the Optometrist Opening
The practice is seeking a highly-skilled Optometrist interested in a long-term opportunity in private practice. You’ll perform comprehensive eye care, promote eye health through patient education, and recommend vision-enhancing products—approximately 15 patients are cared for daily. The position is currently 3.5 days per week on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays. You’ll also have the freedom to explore the ocular specialties of your choice. This is a unique opportunity for you to see a wide variety of conditions, collaborate with talented professionals, and build lasting patient relationships. For the right Optometrist, a future partnership opportunity may be available.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety.
