**Description** **Specialization:** Acute Care **Job Summary:** HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner to support with an outpatient multispecialty Neuro/Ortho/Pain clinic for a part time position. **Qualified Candidates:** + Develop protocols and plans of treatment under physician supervision + Must be people-oriented and willing to learn + Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally + Must have strong interpersonal skills to work with a diverse patient population + Expected to work with various patient demographics & medical staff averaging 15-20 consults a week + Certified APP with prescriptive authority required + Must be eligible for licensure in the state of Texas + 3 plus years’ experience is preferred and work experience with patients in an outpatient setting + Comfortable seeing orthopedic related conditions along with, back & neck pain. + The APPs role is to see the patient, order the necessary diagnostics, prescribe medications, refer to specialists for surgery or for pain management. + Also, another primary role includes being able to perform knee and shoulder joint injections + The ability to partner with multi-specialty providers in the community to educate on clinic capabilities for patients **Incentive/Benefits Package:** + Competitive hourly compensation + Malpractice coverage + No state income tax **About HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast:** Licensed for 391 beds, HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast is an acute-care tertiary facility located in Pasadena, Texas, that serves approximately 500,000 residents of Southeast Harris County.
