The Patient Access Associate job in Portland, Maine is responsible for registering patients, insurance verification, answering questions regarding financials’ and providing top tier customer care. You will have a solid understanding of working in a fast paced environment and maintaining confidentiality. This is a position with various shifts and schedules available.

Patient Access Associate Qualifications: 

High school graduate or GED preferred

Health industry experience preferred. Customer service in a clinical setting preferred

Able to work in a high volume, fast-paced work environment and perform and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

Comfortable working with Microsoft products and strong data entry skills 

Strong communications skills and ability to calm under pressure 

Strong problem-solving

Strong mathematical skills

Strong customer service skills

Patient Access Associate Details: 

Schedule: 24 hours - Saturday & Sunday 9:00am - 9:30pm

Pay Rate: $19/Hr. + Shift Differential

Start Date: ASAP
