Part Time Pharmacist - Sunnyview Hospital
**Employment Type:** Part time **Shift:** Rotating Shift **Description:** Sunnyview Rehabilitative Hospital Part Time Pharmacist: Rotating Days – 8 hrs., 24-26 hrs./week, rotating evenings and every 5th weekend. M-F hours 230pm-11pm and weekend hours 9-7pm. The pharmacist: Manages daily medication needs of all patients within Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital Evaluates, recommends and monitors medication related therapy Recommends and evaluates criteria for and performs medication use evaluations with the intent of determining the therapeutic role of medications with the St. Peter’s Health Partners Continuum Utilizes components of the evaluations to improve quality medication therapy and reduce health care costs In addition, the pharmacist: Participates in St. Peter’s Department of Pharmacy Quality Improvement Program and special projects Provides education by disseminating information to patients and health care providers regarding the safe, effective and economical use of medications Acts as a mentor to pharmacy staff. The pharmacist – Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital expectations: Active bedside patient care with patient, family/nurse/physician interaction on all units, Admission, transition of care and discharge medication reconciliation, Medication order review and entry, Select/recommend therapeutic regimens, Provision of drug information, Precept APPE students Conduct projects in patient care improvement and medication use evaluations Others as assigned Pay Range: $44.40 - $64.68 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
