We seek a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Hours: This part-time role will be working 32 hours per week (2 days per week at the Mansfield location, 2 days per week at the Bucyrus location and will also be required to cover PTOs at the Ashland location when needed. When covering PTOs at Ashland site, there will be opportunities to work 40 hours some weeks).
Pharmacy Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
Location: 741 Scholl Road, Suite P1, Mansfield, OH 44907 (home site). The Bucyrus and Ashland locations are about 30 minutes away from the home site.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements Performs various clerical duties relating to the department Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills Other duties as assigned Occasional deliveries will be required when needed; will be about twice per week to facilities only or to drop off mail at post office. Will be using your own vehicle and will be reimbursed for mileage. All deliveries would be within about a half-mile from site. Required Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license or Pharmacy Technician Trainee license in the state of Ohio Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver’s licensePreferred Qualifications:
