This is a great opportunity if you have a passion for patient care and want to advance your career!_ **Pay:** $18/hr **Schedule:** Mon-Wed 7a-11am **Job Type:** Contract 4 months; possibility to convert permanently **Essential Duties:** Candidate is responsible for accurately obtaining blood samples via venipuncture and capillary collection procedures with minimum customer discomfort. **Phlebotomist Job Responsibilities:** + Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service. + Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages. + Collect/prepare non-blood specimens. + Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering. + Champion safety, compliance, and quality control. + Follows appropriate guidelines as established by the laboratory for missed draws, recollects, or difficult sticks. + Communicates with laboratory staff and its customers to ensure quality patient care. + Maintains and supports a service-oriented relationship with customers. + Respects and maintains the confidentiality of information relative to customers. **Phlebotomist Education/Experience:** + 2 years of Phlebotomy experience required + Phlebotomy certification required **_We strongly encourage candidates who have some of the skills to apply.
