We treat patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) using medications such as methadone and suboxone/ buprenorphine. Day in the Life of a PhysicianEvaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in our outpatient clinic settings
Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments as indicated by patient assessment
Complete medical documentation per Crossroads standards
Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic care to patients, including referrals to other medical providers and community services
Schedule & LocationsExpected weekly hours 12-18
Two in person days per week, one each at Ringgold and Calhoun, plus availability to take phone calls during dosing hours for NP collaboration.
Education and Licensure RequirementsMaster's Degree and licensed as a Physician in the state of practice (GA)
GA DEA licensure
Additional education or certification may be required depending on state of practice (GA)
