Part Time Psychometrist
OVERVIEW: Vitalief is a leading site solutions partner focused on improving the value and contribution of clinical trial sites across the drug development lifecycle.  We are seeking an enthusiastic, Part Time Psychometrist to join our exceptional client team and support our clients’ mission to impact and save lives. Work Location:  On-site in New Brunswick, NJ, three days per week totaling 15 hours weekly. Hourly Pay Rate:  Market competitive - based on experience level. Responsibilities: + Working with multiple Neurology research studies to prepare and administer Psychological and/or Neuropsychological testing in various formats, to include paper and pencil test, computer-based tests, or tests requiring testing equipment, such as picture tests and dexterity boards, under standard conditions. + Explains testing procedures and objectives to subjects and works with subjects to facilitate compliance with protocol and procedures and to ensure appropriate test completion. + Times tests and records results; identifies extraordinary test results, and immediately notifies the attending neuropsychologist. + Provides observational summary which may include reference to patient/participant behavioral information, effort level, and degree of redirection required. + Assists in research through the systematic collection, preliminary analysis, and reporting of psychometric research data, using standard protocols. + Assists in scoring of selected tests within a Neuropsychological battery and in the administering and completing behavior rating scales, as appropriate. + Coordinates and communicates appointment times and venues for the testing of individuals or subject groups. + Maintains records of testing supplies, instruments, and equipment on hand and orders replacement stock as necessary under the direction of the Primary Investigator. + Ensures confidentiality of test results and recommendations; maintains security of testing materials. + Acts as a role model for corporate integrity, customer service and improved quality. Required Skills: + A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or a related field and at least one (1) year of experience administering Psychological/Neuropsychological tests is required. + Working knowledge of Psychological and Behavioral test scoring protocol, procedures and standards. + Knowledge of scientific research principles, practices, and protocols. + Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports. + Must have analytical, evaluative and critical thinking skills. + Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control. + Ability to communicate complex technical information in a manner easily understood by non-technical personnel. + Effective oral and communication skills. + Must be computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of database and reporting tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standing, sitting, walking, visual perception, talking and hearing. Lifting up to 20lbs. IMPORTANT NOTE: Vitalief partners with clients such as major medical centers and academic institutions that often requires all on-site resources such as prospective Vitalief consultants to be inoculated annually for Influenza and successfully pass a Mantoux Tuberculin Skin Test (TST) for Mycobacterium Tuberculosis. #LI-DNP Powered by JazzHR
