Description We are on the lookout for a detailed Purchasing Agent/Vendor Support Specialist to join our team. Located in Princeton, NJ, this role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. You will be instrumental in managing Purchase Orders, handling payment requests, and overseeing invoicing matters. Responsibilities: • Accurately creating and managing Purchase Orders • Effectively handling PO invoices and invoice payments • Keeping Purchase Order details up-to-date, including changes in amounts and PO lines • Resolving any discrepancies related to Purchase Orders, payments, and vendor submissions to Accounts Payable • Ensuring timely confirmation of invoice payments • Streamlining new vendor onboarding processes including processing New Vendor forms • Regularly updating Finance with new vendor details • Maintaining comprehensive New Vendor documentation for Finance team • Efficiently processing forms to generate payment requests for vendor-related matters • Utilizing Accounting Software Systems to track, reconcile Purchase Orders and budget • Leveraging the SAP procurement system for vendor lookup and payment confirmation Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Purchasing Agent or in a similar role • Solid understanding of Accounting Functions • Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes • Experience with SAP preferred • Must be able to maintain Vendor Files effectively and efficiently Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
