JOB SUMMARY\n
Deliver programs and events directly to the public, open and close facilities, assist with planning, gathering and organizing supplies\/equipment, set-up, assigning duties and take down for programs and events, perform cursory cleanup of facility as needed, follow all City of Conroe and Center policies and procedures, and is responsible for the care and safety of participants. This position works directly with children.\n
QUALIFICATIONS\n
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: \n\nExperience in public program\/event delivery and staff supervision.\nExperience in working with children.\nCash handling.\nExcellent communication skills.\nAbility to obtain relevant certifications within time period designated by supervisor.\n\n
Education and Experience:\n\nMinimum age of 18 years old.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum of one year of experience in a leadership role.\n\n
Special Requirements:\n\nPossession of a valid class \"C\" Texas driver's license.\nAbility to obtain relevant certifications.\n\n
PHYSICAL DEMANDS\n
The work is medium and requires the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and\/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and\/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required: crouching, fingering, grasping, handling, hearing, kneeling, lifting, reaching, repetitive motions, speaking, talking, visual acuity and walking.\n
