The Seasonal Laboratory Technician will be responsible for supporting the laboratory by following methodologies, performing analysis, and interpreting datafrom samples.

This position is a seasonal position and is from October 2024 - February/March 2025.


What you will do:  
 

Preparing and analyzing samples for a wide variety of testing procedures including a variety of testing procedures. Follow the outlined methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures for the tests assigned. Learn to operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation. Document activities and report results in a concise and accurate manner. Assist group leaders and analysts in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation. Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of laboratory equipment and areas. Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment. Other duties as required.


What you will bring:

 

High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of analytical method, instruments, general lab practices, and lab safety. Willingess and ability to work day, evening, or overnight shifts.
