Part-Time Security Associate

Job Overview:  

The Security Associate is responsible for serving all owners, residents and employees in a courteous, professional manner and protecting the community's assets. Provide access to community for residents and visitors and operate numerous applications, databases, and camera systems. 

Schedule: 

Weekends 11am - 7:30pm & 10pm - 6:30am

 

Your Responsibilities:  

  

Provide exceptional customer service in greeting guests and residents, verifying amenity access requirements.  Patrol the residential community ensuring community safety. Check vehicles for proper credentials for those having a valid reason for being on property.   Take appropriate action and report violations as necessary.   Review video, access computer and data base systems and write reports as necessary.  Prepare reports and documentation surrounding incidents which occur on the property and in the residential community.   Maintain confidentiality of resident and community information obtained  Observe and report incidents, check community buildings and amenities for security and protection of community assets, and provide other duties as directed.  Direct traffic and ensure traffic safety is maintained at the school bus stops and in the community area.   Comply with all safety regulations  Follow all policies and procedures established by association  

   

Additional Responsibilities:  

  

Practice and adhere to FirstService Residential Global Service Standards.   Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct.   Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules.   Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.  

 

 Skills & Qualifications:  

  

Must be at least 18 years of age  Must possess high school diploma or equivalent  Prior law enforcement or security experience preferred  Ability to understand local, state and federal statutes and apply as needed  Certified or able to certify in AED, CPR and First Aid preferred  Demonstrated customer services and computer skills  Exhibit good written and verbal communication skills and ability to write detailed reports 

 

 

  

Compensation:  

$25.00 per hour
