Job DescriptionSummary
The Ski Valet stores and retrieves guest ski equipment in an efficient and courteous manner. Assists in numerous functions related to maintaining efficient and high-quality guest experience and locker room operations.

Essential Job Functions
• Provide fast, accurate and appropriate storage and retrieval of a variety of winter sports equipment
• Greet guests and maintain a friendly and helpful attitude when dealing with guest needs
• Act independently to assure efficient, clean and organized operations at all times
• Maintain a broad knowledge base adequate to answer all guest equipment-related queries as well as a variety of resort-wide information
• Acquire and retain detailed hotel knowledge to best serve guests
• Utilize great attention to detail in the completion of all tasks and in supporting daily operations
• Run skis and snowboards over waxing equipment when required
• Comply with required risk management and indemnification procedures
• Other duties as assigned
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Written and speaking fluency in English required
• Bi-lingual language skills (Spanish, Portuguese, French or others) preferred
Supervision Given and Received
Given: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Received: Works under direct supervision of Front Office Manager. Tasks are assigned according to specific procedures, and work is checked frequently. Instruction, advice and assistance are readily available.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
• Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, see, hear, stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
• Regularly work in adverse weather conditions.
• May be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces.
• Must be able to constantly lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance.
