Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Part Time Tax Preparer in Portland, Maine. This role will be pivotal in our financial services sector, where you will be tasked with handling tax preparations using various accounting software systems. Responsibilities: • Accurately using Drake Tax Software to prepare and process tax returns • Efficiently maintain and manage client tax records • Conduct data entry tasks related to tax returns and deductions • Ensure accuracy of all entered data and processed tax returns • Handle customer inquiries and provide effective resolutions • Monitor client accounts and provide necessary updates • Stay abreast with the latest changes in tax regulations and laws.
