Part Time Technical Writer/Advisor

We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer/Advisor to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program delivers engineering services for network infrastructure and sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure, including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services, and storage systems. This is a fast paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience to provide top talent and solutions on one of the most complex and high-profile programs within the government. This position offers a flexible and hybrid work schedule; however, candidate must be able to adapt and adjust schedule to accommodate customer and surge requirements. Responsibilities: + Review and evaluate candidate submissions to identify qualified resources and suitably align candidates with current and future program vacancies + Gain and maintain a working knowledge of program and its staffing requirements + Provide written and verbal feedback + Create and edit technical job requisitions + May actively participate in candidate interviews and evaluations (subject to area of expertise) + Use technical data, engineering specifications, or commercial specification sheets to write, review, and evaluate program documentation + Coordinate with team to plan, develop, and write technical documents, such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications + Review customer Program Monthly Review (PMR) briefings for clarity and technical accuracy + Occasionally provide surge support to advise proposal efforts + Other duties as assigned ABC **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** Required Education, Experience, & Skills : + Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience supporting the government in a technical discipline + Ability to identify and extract key technical criteria from candidate profiles + Ability to suitably match candidates against technical and program requirements + Attention to detail + Ability to think critically and make informed decisions + Must be organized with excellent time management skills + Ability to communicate clear and effective technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences, both verbally and in written form + Ability to communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams + Experience using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher) + Ability to travel to multiple buildings within the Dulles corridor + Ability to adapt and adjust schedule to accommodate customer and surge requirements **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Bachelor's or Master s Degree in a relevant field + Industry-recognized IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, AWS, Cisco, Microsoft, etc.) + Experience with SharePoint, Confluence, and/or Jira + Strong knowledge of AI technologies and concepts, and hands-on experience with prompt engineering for AI models to support innovative approaches in technical evaluation and candidate assessment + Familiarity with staffing and subcontracting processes + Experience working on BAE programs and a solid understanding of BAE Systems internal policies and procedures + Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau to present insights from staffing or technical evaluations + Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Brassring Kenexa or Taleo to enhance candidate review and selection processes + Experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and compliance reviews to ensure candidate assessment and program documentation accuracy **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $96470 - $164010 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
