About the Roles
BMA Rail is seeking Train Drivers to be based at Hay Point Coal Terminal, Mackay. These roles are open to residents within the Mackay Region as there is no FIFO at this site.
As a Train Driver, you will operate within safe work practices to ensure the reliable delivery of coal from BMA Mine sites to the Hay Point Terminal. It is critical that you perform all duties in accordance with Network rules, regulations and safe operating procedures.
These roles would be well suited to individuals based Mackay region of Central Queensland. As the Mackay Region is not considered remote, FIFO arrangements will not be on offer and our successful candidates will be required to make their own accommodation arrangements, as no accommodation is provided.
Working part-time you would be required to perform a range of mostly 12.5-hour shifts, on rotating days only or day/night roster patterns, up to a 50% full-time roster equivalent.
To ensure you are set up for success, you will be required to participate in the BMA Rail induction and Training which is at a full-time capacity for 12 weeks from the date of commencement.
