Monday- Friday
Morning Shit: 7:30am-2pm
Afternoon Shift: 1pm-6:30pmAs the Porter/Valet you will play an extremely important role in customer satisfaction and the overall continued success of our company. In this role, you are responsible for lane management and will perform various tasks and errands for the dealership service department.
In this role, you'll:Conducts business in a professional and ethical mannerGreet every customer with a smileDirect customers to their desired destinations when parking or retrieving their vehiclesAssist with service write-up and tagging of customer vehiclesAssist with efficient vehicle flow within the dealership as service tickets are generatedAssist Advisors and Technicians by moving client vehicles to and from the shop and anything else they may need to complete the service visitProvide shuttle service to customers, when requestedReports to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its employees or customersMaintains cleanliness of service area, keeping floor clean and dry, as necessaryResponsible for garbage removalCleans driveway and walkways, removing debris, ice, and snow, as necessaryComplies with DARCARS policies and proceduresAssist in dealer exchangesOther duties as assignedFor this role, you'll need:Strong communication skills with both customers and DARCARS employeesDemonstrated commitment to customer serviceRequires a High School diploma or equivalent (GED)Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customersAbility to lift a minimum of 30 lbsMust have visual acuity that meets Maryland MVA requirements in order to operate company and customer vehiclesAbility to work outdoors and on your feet for extended periods of time in various weather conditionsAbility to operate manual transmission is highly preferredMust be a minimum of eighteen years of ageMust have a valid driver's license and safe driving recordMust be able to pass pre-employment screening (background)BenefitsInsurance: medical, vision, dentalShort-term and long-term disability plansLife Insurance401(k)PTO and Paid HolidaysEmployee discounts on vehicle purchases, parts and service repairsInternal career advancement opportunitiesOpportunities to join our community service initiatives
