Part Time - Warehouse

**About the Role:**
As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that freight reaches its destination on time. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated management team experienced in the transportation industry and committed to efficient operations.
**Day-to-Day Responsibilities:**
- Support shipping and receiving by unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing orders for processing.
- Review customer, work, shipping, and requisition orders to identify items for movement, distribution, or shipment.
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse for easy access and secure employee and customer traffic flow.
- Complete all tasks safely, following established safety protocols and procedures.
- Assemble products and assist in inventory counts as necessary.
- Take check calls from drivers, ensuring timely delivery of loads and confirming data accuracy for accounting purposes.
- Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries, verifying on-time arrivals and quality.
**What We’re Looking For:**
It’s ideal if you have:
- Basic communication skills (written and verbal)
- Basic computer proficiency
- Availability for flexible shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, based on freight volume needs
- Previous experience in dock or warehouse settings within the transportation sector
- Experience with trailer loading/unloading
- Familiarity with handheld scanning equipment
- Strong critical thinking skills to interpret written, verbal, or diagrammed instructions
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds
- Capability to load and unload trucks safely and effectively

**Pay Details:** $18.00 per hour
