Participant Engagement and Advocacy Coordinator

The Participant Engagement and Advocacy Coordinator develops and implements strategies to increase participant engagement and voice in Brightpoint's programs to actively inform, advise, and influence Brightpoint’s services, strategies, and public policy agenda. The Coordinator facilitates meetings and participant voice activities and provides support to participants. The Coordinator collaborates with the Public Policy, Research & Analytics, and Parent Support teams to engage with participants, uplift participant voices, and evaluate impact of participant engagement activities.

Candidate qualifications:

High school diploma/equivalent required. A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in participant engagement. Experience working in a non-profit organization or human services setting preferred. Experience as a participant in a program similar to those offered by Brightpoint preferred. Experience in public speaking and facilitating meetings required.

Job details:

Compensation: Range starts at $22 per hour Location: Must be within reasonable driving distance to Chicago and available to work from home office at 200 West Monroe Street (downtown Chicago loop).  Schedule: Part-time, hourly; regular business hours with remote flexibility 1-2 days/week. Flexible scheduling options are available, but consistency in your availability is preferred. Candidates should be available to attend occasional after-hours events as needed, prior notice for these events will be given. Student Loan Forgiveness: Brightpoint is an approved agency for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
