We actively engage with clients to understand and respond to their specific and evolving needs to manage their environmental liabilities, through an end-to-end integration of site investigation, risk assessment, remediation, decommissioning, demolition and asset retirement processes.
We develop bespoke solutions for the clients around key challenges such as options analysis and exit strategy, digital portfolio dashboarding, liability assessments, asset recycling, regulatory adaptation strategies, portfolio risk heat mapping for emerging risks such as PFAS, regulatory and stakeholder engagement, decarbonisation and more.
Since established in 1989, ERM Germany has enjoyed steady growth and employees over 150 people based across multiple locations. Throughout the years, ERM in Germany has built strong reputation in the market helping clients safely deliver on business objectives for contaminated land management while protecting human health, water resources and ecosystems, satisfying regulatory obligations, controlling costs and managing local community expectations. Clients trust us for highly complex and technically challenging projects and currently our consulting team is working in collaboration with their colleagues across borders to deliver on some of the biggest, high profile remediation projects within Europe.
With a firm intention to grow market share in Germany, ERM seeks to attract a new Partner for the LPMR service in Germany, Central and Eastern Europe.
Role Profile:
Partners in ERM play a pivotal role in delivering business results and shaping our future growth and strategic direction. The Partner will provide leadership in communicating and enabling ERM’s Health & Safety culture and be accountable and responsible for the following (not limited to):
Commercial:
Actively drive commercial growth across Germany and develop commercial strategies to pursue and win new business opportunities that result in significant revenue growth with target clients aligned with ERM’s global strategy.
Provide business value selling at the top levels of client organizations, raising the profile of ERM’s capabilities within ERM’s key clients, to identify and shape clients’ needs for ERM services. This will mean working together with the established ERM teams, senior business leaders in our clients’ organizations and strategic partners (contractors, specialist firms).
Develop new client relationships and expand existing relationships by delivering strategic consulting advice, excellent value and quality service.
Support the growth and development of ERM’s global LPMR service offer and actively collaborate with colleagues across Europe and globally. Drive innovation within the LPMR service to stay ahead of client needs and to differentiate ERM in the market.
People:
Build and grow a high-performance team, serving as a leader and mentor to consultants. Identify emerging talent and work with them to reach their full potential; ensure rising stars are nurtured, developed and given new areas of responsibility.
Technical:
Contribute to leadership and management of major contaminated site management and/or asset retirement & redevelopment projects for ERM’s Key Clients.
Operational:
Meet business financial targets, overall project budget and schedule, client satisfaction/expectations, together with internal and contract requirements.
About You:
We are looking for a market-driven, client focused individual who will bring:
Strong business development skills an in-depth understanding challenges in contaminated site management and/or asset retirement, restructuring & regeneration for multinational companies, including existing relationships that can be leveraged into new business; and participate at national or international sector associations.
Prior advisory/consulting experience in the above-described technical areas, working substantially with multinational industry clients in Energy/Power, Chemical, Manufacturing, Technology and/or Oil & Gas, as well as other industry sectors in Germany.
Excellent project management and thought leadership skills.
Verbal and written language skills in German and English.
You should expect to travel ca. 20 – 30 % for both project-related work and as part of management and sales duties.
