About You

As the Partner Account Manager for Kimberly-Clark Professional, you will be responsible for managing a selected portfolio of distributor and end user customers that have been identified by our treatment strategy as suitable for “Digital Management”. Predominantly virtual sales, with occasional requirement for Face to Face visits.  

You will report directly to the Country Leader DACH for Kimberly-Clark Professional.

Location: we can offer an opportunity on remote for candidates already based in Germany.

YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responsible for the management of selected channel partners that have been classified as suitable for “Digital Sales” (predominantly desk-based sales): treatment (as per Commercial Policies when implemented), Contract Management (when needed), Revenue generation (New Business/Pricing), Margin Improvement (Price/Mix) 

Understanding the market segments, resellers and end users served by the distributor. 

Ability to coordinate gap analysis and with knowledge of the route to market, supply chain and touch points. 

Ability to execute the annual plans, but also able to build and execute plans for specific identified channel partners in portfolio.  

Understand and clearly communicate, both internally and externally, ownership of customers for management of specific activities (e.g.: price increase). 

Management of account receivables to avoid bad debts (liaise with credit control / distributors to ensure compliance with payment terms). 

Typically manages a smaller portfolio size (varies depending on Country/Cluster) 

Works to support identification of potential new Key Accounts to be worked by New Business Development

Driving loyalty and penetration with existing and generate business with new end users directly or indirectly  

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

Previous experience in management of wholesalers and/or end users, in a B2B environment

Languages: Fluent English and German

Proven ability to conduct commercial discussions utilizing digital assets (telephone, Online communication technology e.g MS Teams, Zoom as well as CRM tools like Salesforce.com) 

Experience collaborating with cross-functional groups (e.g., finance, operations, marketing) 

Analytical and critical thinking skills; commercially aware 

Able to communicate well with external/internal stakeholders to influence change 

A demonstrated ability to navigate and perform in ambiguous circumstances
