**Position Overview**
The Identity and Licensing (IDL) Org at Autodesk is responsible for the critical infrastructure that enables our products to run seamlessly. We are seeking a passionate and dynamic "Partner and Platform Success Engineer – Developer Relations" to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our partners and platform through effective communication, support, and integration strategies.
**Responsibilities**
+ **Technical Evangelism** : As a senior member of a self-organized agile team, your role will be to effectively support and facilitate the adoption of the Identity and Licensing (IDL) ecosystem and its REST APIs for various teams and customers. You will develop a strong understanding of platform technologies, enabling you to engage in technical discussions and offer valuable insights to developers. Additionally, you will independently analyze complex integration issues and provide systematic solutions
+ **Partner Success** : Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with developers and partners will ensure their needs are met and their feedback is heard. By providing support and guidance, you will help them integrate and utilize our platform effectively. As the liaison between the developer-community/partners and internal teams, you will gather and communicate feedback, pain points, and requirements to facilitate improvements in our platform. You will ensure that integrators have the necessary and comprehensive documentation, guides, and code samples to perform their tasks. When gaps are discovered, you will collaborate with technical teams to ensure the authoring of the required documentation is prioritized. This will help ensure high-quality technical integrations and provide resources that address common challenges faced by developers
+ **Development of Automation and Tools:** Develop and maintain web portals, tools, and SDKs to support both consumers and internal teams. You will define and implement effective integration strategies through documentation, promotion, collaboration, and engagement. You will assist in creating tools and automation solutions that help debug issues and provide quicker resolutions to developer queries. You will be responsible for developing automation for monitoring and alerting to facilitate troubleshooting. You will ensure clear patterns and use cases are provided to guide developers in successful integrations
+ **Community Platform Management** : Extending your advocacy to moderating and contributing within community platforms (e.g., Stack Overflow, Slack channels, or developer portals) will encourage discussions, Q&A, and collaboration among developers
+ Your role will involve moderating and actively contributing to community platforms such as Stack Overflow, Slack channels, and developer portals to foster discussions, answer questions, and promote collaboration among developers.
+ You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to convey feedback from the community and customer support teams, helping to identify insights and advocate for features and improvements that meet developers' needs. By partnering with internal teams, including product managers, engineers, and managers, you will help them understand the challenges and requirements faced by developers and partners using the platform, providing valuable insights and feedback to enhance platform features and usability
+ Managing integration exceptions will be another critical aspect of your role. This involves organizing, tracking, and escalating exceptions as necessary to maintain the integrity of integrations. Regularly communicating the status of current and past integrations, you will provide detailed reports and updates to stakeholders, and respond to ad-hoc requests for information, such as average integration times and new API adoption rates
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
+ You have a comprehensive understanding of computer programming principles and knowledge of at least one mainstream programming language such as C#, Go, Java, Python, or JavaScript
+ You are familiar with web services, including REST APIs and acquainted with the development of cloud/web applications
+ You have proven experience in developer relations, community management, or related roles
+ You have excellent written and verbal skills, enabling clear and effective communication in both meeting and presentation contexts
+ You are passionate about building relationships with developers and engaging in technical discussions
+ You are committed to fostering a vibrant and supportive developer community
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ **Evangelism and Education** : You create promotional content, including videos, to showcase tools and resources. By sharing knowledge, you empower developers and demonstrate the value of our solutions. Additionally, you possess the skills to present this content effectively to various audiences, including senior leadership
+ **Community Metrics and Analysis** : You are familiar with community analytics and metrics to measure the success of community initiatives and identify areas for improvement

**Salary transparency**
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $93,800 and $137,500. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
