AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
AWS is seeking a Manager to lead our Partner SA (PSA) team in Korea . This leader will be responsible for managing a team of Partner Solution Architects in Korea who will work closely with AWSI, AGS and APJ APO team to drive the technical GTM.
The SA Leader is responsible for leading the existing team of PSAs working across local SIs, GSIs, ISVs and Distribution Partners. The SA Leader will also hire new PSAs as required in the future. The PSA Leader will act as a mentor to the team and created a measurable high impact through passion for coaching, growing, and partnering with technically skilled, Partner Solutions Architects.
The PSA Leader will develop the industry’s best cloud-based team of architects by coaching them on best practices, solution sales, presentation/speaking skills, and creating complex architectures, will collaborate with sales to drive revenue growth across a broad set of customers.
Key job responsibilities
- Work with APO leader in Korea, other peers and stakeholders in APO, CoE teams, AWSI and AGS teams in Korea, to establish the technical strategy to support the business strategy
- Work with WWSO, AGS, AWSI and other teams to establish the operating model for Partner SAs to build the required Partner capability, capacity and solutions required for Korean market
- Work with WWSO (in Korea and across APJ and Globally) and Service teams to have Voice of the APJ Partner represented in future product roadmaps and have their issues/challenges addressed
- Hire and develop bar raising specialist PSAs
- Work with peers and stakeholders to determine resource investment
- Build mechanisms to scale the team exponentially
- Set measurable goals, tracking and reporting progress for team members
- Track and report on goals and KPIs owned by the Korea team and also on the initiatives that the Korea team is part of
- Establish relationships with senior level (CXO, Sr. Director, etc.) and Line of Business leaders on the Partners/their customer side.
- Be a role model and lead the participation of PSAs in QBRs, MBRs (with Partners) and Tier 1 and Tier 2 events such as Partner Summits, re:Invent, AWS Summits etc.
