Partner Sr. Solutions Engineer
**About the team** The Partner Solutions Engineering (PSE) team at HashiCorp is dedicated to building and nurturing partnerships with our System Integrators, both regionally and globally, as well as our Cloud Service Providers and Technology Partners. The PSE team ensures the technical success of these focus partners by aligning with their business objectives and enhancing their capabilities. The PSE team empowers the field and partners alike, driving expansion and acceleration services though the development of partner capabilities, delivery of technical training programs, and creation of repeatable sales plays. Our mission is to foster strong, capable partners who can effectively leverage HashiCorp to accelerate outcomes and drive success with the Customers we mutually support. **What you’ll do (responsibilities)** As a Partner Solutions Engineer at HashiCorp, you will work in a high-performance team environment to drive our Partner Services efforts by providing technical expertise around Development Operations, specifically in the context of multiple technical and executive audiences within HashiCorp’s partner community. In this role, you will: + **Lead as a Domain Expert:** You will act as a domain expert in hybrid/multi-cloud solutions for the partner sales team and serve as the technical lead on strategic client relationships in the partner space. + **Technical Enablement and Co-Selling:** You will lead technical enablement and co-selling services strategies with Focused and Aligned Partners to create a force multiplying effect for the HashiCorp Sales and Services teams. + **Own Technical Relationships:** You will own the technical relationship with assigned Focused and Aligned Partners, providing expert guidance on operations excellence with strong skill sets in CSP infrastructure architecture, IT operations, security, and development technologies and processes. + **Integrate HashiCorp’s Cloud Stack:** You will work closely with assigned Focused and Aligned Partners to integrate the HashiCorp Cloud Stack into their solutions, both products and services. + **Understand Technology Portfolio:** You will establish and maintain a deep understanding of the overall HashiCorp technology portfolio and the competitive landscape. + **Foster Strategic Partner Success:** You will help foster an environment for ongoing strategic partner success with active participation in HashiCorp Sales teams’ meetings and cadences. + **Assist with Services Practice Building:** You will actively assist assigned Aligned Partners with services practice building, including designing HashiCorp products and solutions into the Partner’s GTM strategy. **What you’ll need (basic qualifications)** + **Experience:** 5+ years in a Technical Pre-Sales or Sales Engineering role, or equivalent experience - practitioners are appreciated as well. + **Technical Expertise:** Proficiency in understanding concepts and technologies in DevOps, IT operations, security, cloud, microservices, containers, and scheduling platforms. + **Customer Engagement:** Proven experience with implementing software products or solutions in large and dynamic enterprise companies. + **Communication Skills:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. + **Problem-Solving Skills:** Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop innovative solutions. + **Collaboration:** Experience working well in a highly dynamic team environment that focuses on providing above industry standard customer service. Proven ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success. + **Travel:** Ability to travel as needed, with domestic and occasional international travel required. + **Experience:** 5+ years in a Technical Pre-Sales/Sales Engineering/Services Consulting role, or equivalent experience - practitioners are appreciated as well. + **Technical Proficiency:** Proficiency in understanding concepts and technologies in DevOps, IT operations, security, cloud, microservices, platform engineering, containers, and scheduling platforms. + **Cloud Service Providers:** Proficiency and/or knowledge of Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure) focused on DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud Migration, Platform Engineering, and others. + **Implementation Experience:** Experience with implementing software products or solutions to large and dynamic enterprise companies. + **Services Development:** Experience in developing and/or delivering services for cloud-based ISV companies or developing service practices with digital native or service-focused organizations for large and dynamic enterprise companies. + **Expert Guidance:** Ability to provide expert guidance in DevOps with a focus on cloud infrastructure architecture, IT operations, security, and development technologies. + **Collaboration Skills:** Comfortable developing services and solutions with third-party partners. + **Team Environment:** Ability to work well in a highly dynamic/team environment that focuses on providing above industry standard customer service. + **Travel:** Domestic and occasionally international travel required. **What's nice to have (preferred qualifications)** + **Knowledge of HashiCorp Tools:** Knowledge of, and experience with, any of the tools in the HashiCorp portfolio. + **Technical Certifications:** Relevant technical certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, DevOps) are a plus. + **Education:** Military Veteran/Experience or B.S. degree in an engineering or similar program from an accredited college/university preferred or equivalent experience. The base pay range for this role is: $149,850—$176,250 USD The OTE pay range for this role is: $199,800—$235,000 USD
