Partnership & Concession Manager

The North Face is looking for an exceptional Partnership Sales Manager to join our Sales team based in Milan - Italy.

You will be responsible for managing and developing the strategic growth of brand network in Italy and GAS Region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) both with franchise stores and through department stores (concession model).

How You Will Make a Difference

We expect that you will deliver unbeatable results whilst fulfilling the following aspects of the role:

Supervise TNF Partnership stores to achieve sales and profitability targets & ensure short, medium and long-term business growth in alignment with The North Face philosophy.

Regularly visit stores to engage with managers and sales staff, addressing immediate issues with the support of Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Territorial Agencies.

Work alongside HQ Retail teams to ensure that commercial, yet profitable product ranges are developed and bought to maximize profit and sales.

Oversee store selling processes, managing the retail buying process and providing clear guidelines and tools to regional Agencies and Sales Reps to optimize store performance.

Manage store P&L, set financial targets, and prepare seasonal budgets to maximize profitability.

Supervise new store opening projects from planning to execution.

Ensure that all company policies, procedures, and programs are thoroughly understood and implemented by Store Managers and sales staff.

Drive business improvements, implementing necessary changes related to staff training, visual merchandising, and other operational areas.

Monitor market trends and competitors, broadening awareness of current market conditions to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Skills for Success

Experience:  5 years + of relevant and progressive experience in Retail and Sales Management.

Demonstrates excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data-driven decision making.

Strong ability to analyze P&L statements, manage retail budgets, and develop financial plans.

Deep understanding of product management, merchandising strategies, and retail buying processes.

Strong management skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams.

Adaptability to changing business needs and market conditions.

A strong understanding of the Italian retail landscape

Ability to handle high-level negotiations with key partners.

Fluent in both Italian and English.
