Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence partnership development, relationship management, sales enablement, performance monitoring, market insights, and strategic planning.We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented person to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with partners in the maritime sector, including Systems Integrators, Resellers, and Third-Party Solutions Providers. Your goal will be to drive growth and ensure successful collaboration to deliver comprehensive solutions to our clients.The work model for the role is hybrid: #LI-hybridThis position can be located preferably in the Netherlands or in Miami, US.You will join a team that is dedicated to creating a future where innovative digital technologies allow greater access to cleaner energy, and where you will be able to thrive.You will be mainly accountable for:• Partnership Development: Identifying, engaging, and onboarding new Systems Integrators, resellers, and other third-party companies to expand our partner ecosystem in the maritime industry.• Relationship Management: Building and nurturing strong, collaborative relationships with existing partners, understanding their needs and aligning them with our strategic initiatives.• Collaboration: Working closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment on goals and initiatives related to partner engagement.• Sales Enablement: Providing training and support to partners on our products and services, ensuring they have the knowledge to effectively promote and implement our solutions.• Performance Monitoring: Tracking and analyzing partner performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive accountability.• Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to enhance partnership strategies and business opportunities.• Strategic Planning: Collaborating with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic plans for partner engagement and growth within the maritime sector.
Qualifications for the roleBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus. 5+ years of experience in partner management, business development, or sales, preferably within the maritime or technology sectors. Proven track record of successfully managing relationships with Systems Integrators, resellers, and third-party partners. Strong understanding of the maritime industry and its technology landscape. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend industry events.
