Job Description:
In your day-to-day role you will :
Assess market landscape, identify market growth opportunities, and design and lead strategic initiatives
Identify strategic partners to support market growth ambitions and drive strategic business development
Own relations and lead conversations with executives at strategic partners; align on avenues for joint growth tailored to market dynamics, lead negotiations and secure commitments on areas of investment, oversee execution against roadmap
Lead orchestration of cross-functional teams across Product, Integration, Marketing, Sales enablement to deliver strategic partner playbooks
Run analytical exercises to assess business impact from strategic initiatives, develop scenarios and identify strategic trade-offs and dependencies
Manage and align internal stakeholders, orchestrate decision making required for strategic initiatives
Actively manage a pipeline of initiatives with strategic partners; track commercial outcomes and evaluate performance
What do you need to bring:
10 years of relevant overall experience with 3+ years in MBB Management Consulting and min 4+ years in Strategic Business Development at leading SaaS companies.
Organizational navigation, working in matrixed structures, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive outcomes.
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to influence and negotiate with external stakeholders.
Business development acumen, with a focus on building and scaling strategic partnerships in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
Stakeholder management skills; manage senior internal stakeholders on commercial and strategic discussions.
Quantitative skills to perform hypothesis-backed data analysis and develop insights
Conceptual skills to design strategic and commercial initiatives informed by data, partner and customer feedback, and on-the-ground market insights
Structured problem-solving skills to identify root causes of performance gaps or improvement areas
A strategic mindset to identify broader areas of commercial opportunity, develop commercial market strategies
