Responsibilities:As a Parts Advisor you will be responsible for providing vehicle parts and merchandise to customers while providing exceptional customer service.
Answer telephone and greet customers & vendors in a friendly and professional manner.Maintain clean and professional appearance of counter, work area, and stockroom.Interact with the Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer requests.Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed.Takes inventory, maintain records of goods received and keeps perpetual inventory controls.Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.Process core returns, parts warranties and parts returns as necessary.
QualificationsPrevious parts advisor experience, preferredUnderstand basic automotive components and systemsAutomotive dealership service experience is a plusAny automotive certifications is a plusAcceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
The estimated annual earning range for this position is ($58,448.00 to $84,000.00), which includes commissions on (Commissions –Ex: “Individual Sales and/or Individual Gross Profit”, “Department Net”) and/or bonus opportunities such as (Bonuses –Ex: “Parts Gross Achievement, Manufacturer Approvability”).
Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, as well as a variety of other benefits, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
