**Parts Associate** **Job Description** We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Associate to join our dynamic team. The Parts Associate will play a crucial role in our operations by managing inventory, fulfilling kit pulls, and ensuring the availability of parts for various projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of inventory management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities** + Accurately pull and assemble kits of parts based on work orders or project specifications. + Ensure that all components are included in each kit, checking for accuracy and completeness. + Maintain an organized and efficient parts storage area. + Conduct regular inventory counts and update records to track stock levels. + Communicate with the procurement team to replenish stock as needed. + Process parts requests from various departments in a timely manner. + Ensure that all orders are picked accurately. **Essential Skills** + Knowledge of auto parts. + Experience in inventory management. + Proficiency in picking, packing, kitting, shipping, and receiving. + Experience in customer/client interaction and processing purchase orders. + Experience with processing internal and customer orders, cycle counting, and handling returns. + Strong customer service skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus. + Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment. + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. + Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods. + Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing issues. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
