**Job Title: Parts Clerk**
**Job Description**
We are looking for a dedicated Parts Clerk to join our team. The role involves shipping and receiving, managing parts inventory, and performing cycle counts. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient flow of MRO supplies to support smooth plant operations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Maintain a safe and clean work area in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
+ Follow all established safety rules and guidelines.
+ Communicate hazards and safety issues to co-workers and supervisors.
+ Use personal protective equipment properly.
+ Organize and maintain the storeroom, including receipt and stocking of parts, FIFO, flammables, and labeling.
+ Disburse spares and production supplies accurately to various departments.
+ Maintain the computer-based inventory system, including data entry and report generation.
+ Ensure correct inventory of critical parts and supplies.
+ Utilize Inventory Discrepancy Reports to address discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
+ Communicate inventory issues and assist with resolution.
+ Track purchase orders and item availability.
+ Monitor Kanban visuals and create Warehouse Tasks in SAP to replenish items.
+ Maintain Warehouse Task tracker for documentation and transfer of requests.
+ Run reports in SAP to track warehouse tasks and item movement.
+ Conduct daily and weekly cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and reconcile balances.
+ Perform daily receiving and disbursement audits, document errors, and report findings.
+ Flag and track custom parts, ensure in-house modifications, and update system notes.
+ Multi-task, assist customers, and manage special projects independently.
+ Manage computer documents and files, import information as required.
+ Manage spare part pictures and drawings for import.
+ Kit parts for scheduled work/projects and PMs with Planners.
+ Manage returns to vendors and shipping requirements.
+ Manage FIFO inventory.
+ Work with EHS for proper disposal of scrap material and chemicals.
+ Report stock outs and last issues to the relevant personnel.
**Essential Skills**
+ High School Graduate or GED; post-secondary education preferred.
+ Previous manufacturing, inventory, or MRO work experience preferred.
+ Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills.
+ 1 to 3 years of work experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
+ Knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment, components, and parts.
+ Experience with SAP and inventory systems preferred.
+ Proficiency in MS Office applications.
+ Valid Driver’s License.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with ac/dc motors, 3 phase, plc troubleshooting, high voltage, and industrial maintenance.
+ Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
+ Continuous improvement mindset.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Oxford, North Carolina.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
