**Job Title: Parts Clerk - CMMS Purchasing** **Job Description** The Parts Clerk - CMMS Purchasing is responsible for the purchasing of tools, parts, and supplies for Maintenance, Packaging, Engineering, Sanitation, Safety, and Production. This role involves working with outside vendors to research the best pricing and manage the budget within the company’s goals. Additionally, the Parts Clerk is responsible for maintaining all parts room inventory and organization using the CMMS System. **Responsibilities** + Purchase tools, parts, and supplies for various departments including Maintenance, Packaging, Engineering, Sanitation, Safety, and Production. + Work with outside vendors to research best pricing and manage the budget. + Maintain and organize parts room inventory using the CMMS System. + Conduct periodic cycle counting of inventoried items. + Perform lifting and emergency parts pickup with personal car or company van. + Enter purchasing data in SAP and MP2 systems. + Collaborate with accounting to ensure timely payment of invoices and early payment discounts. + Enter MP2 data for time accounting, equipment inventory, and PM tasks. + Generate MP2 preventative maintenance tasks for department employees and outside contractors. **Essential Skills** + Experience in inventory management and inventory control. + Proficiency in data entry and using CMMS systems. + Knowledge of SAP and MP2 purchasing systems. + Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. + Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills. + Ability to interact effectively with various levels of professionals in the organization. + Good mechanical skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to guide, teach, and communicate with others. **Why Work Here?** Our company is family-owned and offers great benefits including paid insurance and a 3% match on 401K.
