Responsible for ordering and provisioning spare parts, materials and supplies used in the daily operation of the O&M site. This position is responsible for the administration of inventory records, requisitions, purchase orders and documentation for stock on hand in storerooms.
Responsibilities Conduct procurement activities in compliance with company / customer corporate policies.Compliance with ELS safety program policies and procedures. Evaluate vendors for best cost and service.Organize, maintain and evaluate appropriate inventory levels to prevent out of stock events while operating in an effective and efficient manner.Track all parts/material issued or removed from stock to maintain inventory levels and correctly identify and record associated financial information. Maintain material / parts inventory information such as databases, records, etc., entering such data changes as issues, returns, receiving. Data entry into the local CMMS system.Conducts periodic inventories and audits of usage in compliance with documentation procedures and requirements, according to ISO standards where applicable. Maintain high standards of professional conduct in relationships with suppliers. Communicate any performance problems with suppliers to management through organizational channels.Perform quality inspections on every item purchased and document non-conformities when they are discovered.Maintain monthly departmental budget.Maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the Employer’s insurance policy.Maintains the record of purchase orders and requisitions for the site and reconciles order, receipt and invoicing documents. May assist with or be responsible for coding all invoices for payment.May be required to do a continual review of inventory to include identifying obsolete, overstocked and under stocked material.Maintains good housekeeping practices.Ensures the security of all assets.Performs additional duties as required by management.Work schedule subject to site requirements.
