Parts Coordinator
The Parts Coordinator will manage the procurement of all parts, communal tools, and other commodities required by the Fleet Maintenance Division. The Parts Coordinator’s main responsibilities will include researching, planning and negotiating pricing with vendors, ensuring purchasing procedures are followed by all parties in the procurement process as well as maintaining sufficient inventory of stock items. This position requires a highly organized individual who is passionate about contributing to a high-performing team.



 

Job Duties:
• Order, receive and sort incoming inventory, ensuring orders are accurate and meet quality standards.
• Source and purchase communal items such as tools for regular shop use.
• Manage, maintain and replenish inventory of standard items and shop supplies, as well as fluids for the bulk dispensing system.
• Create purchase orders for required products to allow for processing through accounts payable.
• Create and edit Fleet Maintenance service orders to ensure all parts and inventory are billed out accordingly.
• Organize and coordinate all parts and core returns.
• Perform general upkeep and organization of the stores room.
• Assist in organizing and completing special projects or tasks within the Fleet Maintenance Department.


  Requirements:
• 3 + years of experience in a related role.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment.
• Ability to utilize computer software such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Knowledge of competitive procurement practices.
