Job Description: Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a detail-orientated Parts Coordinator. This position is based in Rochester, NY and will report directly to the Purchasing Supervisor. The parts coordinator will be responsible for the sourcing of materials to complete service work. This position requires an understanding of the essential parts that need to be delivered timely to our branches, and the timely communication of parts ordered to ensure that open jobs and orders can be completed to schedule. This position would be ideal for someone who has strong prioritization and communication skills, enjoys working within a team, and would prefer steady working hours. Responsibilities: + Prepare and process purchase orders for materials, supplies, and services + Confirm material orders are placed in a timely manner to minimize installation delays + Communicate effectively with customers, branches, and field technicians regarding orders + Monitor shipments to ensure goods are delivered on-time + Assist service technicians in procuring materials + Partner with managers and vendors to discuss defective goods or services + Monitor and review vendor pricing for accuracy + Verify repair quotes and warranty status of client equipment per work order + Maintain multiple queues for our separate branches + Other duties as assigned by manager Job Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent required + Minimum of 1-2 years of purchasing or related purchasing experience + Minimum of 1-2 years of HVAC industry related experience, preferred Competencies: + Strong computer literacy + Ability to multitask + Strong organizational skills + Excellent written, verbal, and active listening skills + Ability to work individually and as part of a team + Problem-solving skills The starting hourly base wage for this position is $21.50 - $23.50. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position. If offered a position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills, and/or education, which may result in a total compensation package that falls outside of the provided range.
