Parts Coordinator

Xylem is looking for a Parts Coordinator to report to our Summerville, SC location and preform various clerical and materials handling duties. **What your day will look like as a Parts Coordinator** The Parts Coordinator will be responsible for the ordering, handling, and stocking of various parts. This person will also perform other duties related to the running and maintenance of the shop, sales and branch operations ensuring that customer contracts, billing, invoicing and issues of any administrative nature are resolved in a timely fashion. If you believe that we would be the right fit for you, please apply today. **Position Requirements for Parts Coordinators** + Handle phone calls, online inquiries, and customer walk-ins. + Perform routine tasks related to the support process. + Collaborate effectively with customers and branch staff to resolve issues. + Process customer requests, including generating rental quotes and placing orders via phone, in person, or email. + Document tasks in process flows. + Answer product questions and refer specific inquiries to the appropriate personnel. + Enter orders and arrange deliveries according to agreements, including understanding freight terms. + Manage contract renewals and simple changes to contracts or purchase orders. + Review auto-renewals of contracts and support additions identified by branch staff. + Complete equipment and rental processes, schedule pickups, and prepare paperwork for customer approval. + Support Service Shop Technicians with work orders and pulling necessary parts for repairs. + Assist branch staff in compiling metrics and ensure timely completion of customer requests. + Maintain accurate time entries and billing for projects and services. + Update payment information for customer service orders. + Ensure all service operations and part numbers are included in service orders. + Address internal and external customer needs and expectations. + Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and empowerment. + Work effectively in a team environment, with some tasks completed independently. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Light construction experience is preferred. + Forklift certification is preferred. + Proficiency in computers, including Microsoft Suite, and basic math skills. + Ability to troubleshoot processes and basic knowledge of circuit testing. **Skill Requirements:** + Communicate effectively within the department to share information and align efforts. + Execute tasks with moderate independence, requiring limited guidance for complex tasks. + Collaborate with other disciplines as needed. + Strong organizational skills and understanding of business concepts. + Excellent communication skills. + Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). + Familiarity with relevant ERP systems. **WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:** Our Total Rewards Program goes far beyond base compensation by providing a more fulfilling work experience and offering a competitive benefits program, including: + Generous PTO package and paid holidays + Generous retirement savings plan + Customizable health, dental and vision insurance (eligible on first date) + Career progression plans + Reward and recognition programs + Paid parental leave + Tuition Reimbursement + Company Wellness Program + Employee Discount Program **SALARY:** The estimated salary range for this position is $25.00/Hr. to $29.00/Hr. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
