Parts Coordinator (Urgent Hire)
Job Title: Spare Parts Sales CoordinatorJob Description Coordinate activities related to spare parts sales to customers by procuring parts, maintaining inventory, and facilitating the sale and shipment of parts. Handle various tasks simultaneously throughout the workday, focusing on details related to customer orders. Build rapport with customers to achieve problem resolution and ensure outstanding customer service and satisfaction. Respond to a high volume of customer phone calls and email requests. Review drawing books and machine manuals to confirm parts specifications. Prepare requests for quotes to suppliers, considering vendor capabilities, lead time, quality, and price. Provide quotes to customers in a prompt and timely manner using MRP software PLEX. Process and track order status to confirm customer has received the order as promised and ensure customer satisfaction. Evaluate inventory stock levels during daily activity, customer demand, and known lead time for each specific part. Coordinate appropriate shipping methods and prepare necessary documents. Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Work Environment Onsite, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. Dress code is business casual. Working with one other spare parts coordinator in Ann Arbor and another coordinator in the Chicago area. Clean manufacturing site, quiet work environment, good retention throughout the company.
