Parts Inspector
Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the physical receipt of parts, entry into the ERP system, and inspecting all outgoing materials, assemblies, and other product components prior to shipment. Your primary focus will be to ensure that everything meets quality standards, is properly packed, and conforms to shipping documentation.

ResponsibilitiesPhysically receive parts and enter information into the ERP system.Inspect all outgoing materials, assemblies, and product components for damage and completeness.Ensure proper packing of products before shipment.Confirm conformance to shipping papers.Perform basic inspection and packaging of products before shipment.Essential SkillsExperience with quality inspection processes.Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP.Strong attention to detail.Ability to perform visual inspections and quality checks.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).Knowledge of blueprint reading and assembly production.Experience with final inspection and quality control processes.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Located on Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay near Baltimore, our 1.7-million sq. ft. facility is situated on 180 acres. You will be working in a large manufacturing site that supports various commercial customers. The standard shift is from 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, with 5-10 hours of overtime typically available. You must be open to occasional Saturday shifts as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middle River, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00
