As a Parts Inspector, you'll work to ensure that we deliver the highest quality products to our customers. The BAE Systems site in Aiken, South Carolina, supporting Combat Mission Systems is seeking a Parts Inspector (dimensional inspector) for the 3rd shift. In this role, the Inspector will: + Inspect machined and/or welded parts to blueprint requirements for shipment to customer base. + Use inspection tools including scales, calipers, micrometers, and height gages. + Provide auditing support to shop floor operations. + Be able to support on 3rd Shift, Monday-Friday 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Must have experience with and/or knowledge of basic inspection tools including scales, calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc. + Able to read, comprehend, and work to blueprints. + Must be able to support 3rd shift (Monday thru Friday 10:30 pm to 7:00 am). + Typical experience and education requirements area High School Diploma or the equivalent, and 1-year related work experience. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Coordinate measurement machine (CMM) and Keyence experience a plus. + Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge and experience beneficial. + Weld inspection knowledge/experience is a bonus. + Faro Arm/Laser Tracker experience is a bonus. **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $41200 - $65900 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
