COMPANY OVERVIEW: Beltway Companies is a leading heavy-duty truck dealership dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and high-quality products. Our Hagerstown location is seeking someone who specializes in heavy-duty retail and aftermarket parts. As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Parts Manager to join our team. POSITION OVERVIEW: As a Parts Manager at Beltway Companies, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the Hagerstown Parts Department and ensuring optimal performance. Your primary responsibilities will include: + Set and achieve department goals. + Train and supervise staff. + Manage the operating budget. + Maintain balanced inventory and optimize turnover. + Establish pricing and profitability parameters. + Oversee stock ordering and special orders. + Analyze sales, expenses, and inventory. + Develop and manage a wholesale parts program. + Ensure high-quality customer service and timely parts turnaround. + Conduct meetings, oversee payroll, and ensure compliance with safety and regulations. Requirements + Prior experience in transportation, parts, or service environments required. + Qualifications include technical school degree in automotive or diesel, parts counter experience, or vehicle/heavy duty equipment repairs. + Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and collaboration with all departments. + Conduct oneself and maintain a professional appearance at all times. + Demonstrate flexibility and readiness to embrace change. + Good verbal and written communication skills with a positive attitude. + Basic PC skills, problem-solving abilities, and understanding of basic algebra and geometry. + Ability to stand, move constantly, and work outside for an 8-hour shift. A reasonable estimate of the current range would be $50,000 to $75,000 with bonus opportunities.
