Job Description

We are currently seeking a Parts Manager/Associate to assist the flight service department in Westminster, MD. This role offers an excellent opportunity to move up into a Parts Manager position, partnering directly with the Director of Service. The ideal candidate will work independently, be self-motivated, take initiative, own the department, and management up to 3 people.

ResponsibilitiesProcess all non-warranty core returnsResponsible for inventory controlControl stock room and parts issues for open work ordersAssist Parts Sales Associate with shipping and receivingEstablish pricing of parts for invoicesReview all receiving PO’s & OTC invoices before closingCoordinate with the Director of Service on stocking or returning mis-orders/returnsResponsible for purchasing and the accurate and timely issuance of purchase ordersGenerate and review open purchase order report dailyFollow-up on all delinquent items dailySupply part status information at daily maintenance meetingsEstablish pricing of parts for quotes and invoicesEssential SkillsShipping and receivingInventory controlPacking and pickingLogisticsSupervisionInventory tracking systemVendor communicationShipping/receiving and cycle countMicrosoft OfficeSupply chain/purchase order managementData entryCustomer serviceParts managementAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the aviation field would be a huge plusStrong computer skillsInventory experienceWhy Work Here?

The company specializes in Piper Pilatus and has been steady and growing throughout the years. Employees tend to stay long term and retire from the company. There is significant growth potential, and with their recent merge with Piper Pilatus, they are undergoing internal pay structure improvements. The successful candidate will receive personal training from the Director of Service to transition into a Parts Manager role.

Work Environment

The position involves working in a tool crib environment within an aircraft hangar. The department consists of 4 other people. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westminster, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr.
