We are currently in the process of expanding our operations in Caseyville with a $181 million dollar investment to add 7 new state of the art production lines to our current 4 production lines.
With automated warehousing and robotics at the heart of this expansion, the facility will be a Flagship of the Prepared Foods division. The facility currently produces Jimmy Dean and Hillshire branded retail products, and the expansion will further develop our capabilities.

SUMMARY:
Maintains stock levels to avoid special freight charges. Assists all plant personnel in ordering parts. Assists with finding new parts not already in use. Ensures consumables are always available. Assures that repair parts meet the standards needed to use them. Know where parts are in the parts crib when asked by Team Members. Maintains parts crib inventories constantly checking obsolete parts and work inventory goals. Involved in all Maintenance functions at the plant if needed. Keeps the parts crib clean and orderly daily. Maintains all warranty information on all equipment and parts to allow for return warranty. Cleans up area after tasks are complete and before the shift is over daily. Willing and able to understand all recall procedures (recalls on parts/warranty items). Fills out daily documentation that is required. May be required to assist in activities with outside contractor personnel as needs dictate. Assists maintenance personnel with correcting problems with substandard or defective parts. Makes sure that all tools are kept in good working order and in their proper place and communicate any deficiencies or damages to the Parts Room Supervisor. Drives for parts when needed with Tyson approved driving privileges. Ensures all parts have a number and location. Willing and able to set up shipping and receiving of parts when needed. Performs work in a safe manner. Abides by all company policies/procedures, written or verbal. Willing and able to work with minimal supervision. Perform any other tasks assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalentExperience: 1 year of parts room or inventory experience preferred. Proficient in SAP or other parts tracking program preferred.Computer Skills: Proficient in SAP or other parts tracking program is a plus. Basic computer skills required; must be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.Communication Skills: Strong communication skills.Special Skills: Willing and able to work flexible hours. Willing and able to read inventory sheets, parts orders, email correspondences. Willing and able to write required information for ordering parts and email correspondences. required job-related documentation. Willing and be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide to accurately inventory parts, reorder parts in correct quantities as related to the job. Forklift experience is a plus. Willing and able to work competently and efficiently with minimal supervision. Willing and able to stand for up to 12 hours.Must reside in the United States. Sponsorship is not available for this role.Highly recommended to submit a resume to be considered.Physical: Requires flexibility of wrists and hands. Walking, bending, standing and some lifting required. Lifting of up to 30 lbs. on a frequent basis and 50 lbs. occasionally. Willing and able to move heavy objects (100 lbs.) with mechanical device.
