SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for maintaining parts in inventory tracking system; performing usage analysis; keeping parts room clean and orderly; dispensing parts and tools to maintenance personnel as needed; identifying and monitoring parts flow by parts numbers; creating purchase requisitions; receiving all maintenance parts and put them away in their proper locations; signing vendor tickets; stocking inventory in parts room and printing documentation on inventory replenishment. Other duties include knowledge of parts tools used in plant; unload supply trucks prioritizing daily work with minimum supervision and other duties as assigned. Team work and working independently is a must.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience: Experience working with parts and tools a plus.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of a computerized maintenance management system that includes receiving and accounts payable; competent in Windows-based software such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with all team members
Physical Requirements: Ability to unload supplies lifting 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently. Dolly and Forklift provided for assistance. Must wear steel toe shoes / boots at all times.
Special Skills: Knowledge skills and abilities to do intermediate math and accounting; perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy; ability to prioritize and multi-task; work without supervision; be detail oriented; have good attendance; ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of management and operations maintenance
