Parts Room Coordinator

SUMMARY:Maintains control of the system established in the parts room. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties maybe assigned.Follow instructions and carry them out according to proper procedures.Receive and issue parts into and from the computer system. (day and night shift)Work well with other personnel.Print count sheets in the computer system, do physical inventory and adjust Elke inventories.(night shift)Enter or delete bin locations in the computer system.Enter work orders into the computer system.Run stock replenishment reports and check against physical inventory to insure accuracy ofreport.Fill out and file stock forms (ie. tooling, radio and parts) correctly.Keep Parts room clean and orderly at all times.Be able to assist Purchasing personnel in purchasing duties. (Day shift)Print work orders and complete.Communicate with oncoming shift, duties to be completed.Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to performeach essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to effectively present information inone-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of theorganization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw andinterpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written ororal instructions.
