• Write and place purchase orders.

• Coordinate and organize parts room and supplies, under direction of supervisor.

• Receive parts and supplies via packing slips, reconciling to purchase orders

• Perform customer service with vendors and employees

• Work with vendors to obtain competitive pricing and quotes for parts and supplies

• Manage inventory of parts and raw materials.

• Train employees on applicable computer system.

• Maintain computer database/spreadsheets.

• Keep track of inventory levels to ensure that there is enough inventory on hand to meet demand without having excess inventory on hand

• Reviewing purchase orders from suppliers to ensure that they are accurate and include all relevant information such as the supplier’s name, product description, quantity ordered, price per unit, shipping terms, and payment terms

• Conducting routine maintenance of storage facilities to ensure that they are clean, organized, and safe for storing goods

• Preparing reports to summarize inventory levels and activity within the stockroom

• Creating labels, packing slips, and other shipping documents to ensure accurate identification of items during shipping • Communicating with vendors regarding order status and delivery

• High school diploma or GED

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is needed, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience.

• Must have basic Excel and Word skills in order to use computer.

• Must be familiar with computer based parts management systems CMMS
